The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State.
A five-member panel of justices presided by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun on Friday held that the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, David Ombugadu lacked merit.
The apex court panel upheld the findings of the Court of Appeal in Abuja that the witness statements establishing PDP’s victory were not front-loaded within 21 days stipulated by law.
