SOZECOM Partner JAIZ Bank to Collection of Zakkat, Endowment

As part of the effort to strengthen the long-existing working relationship, the management of Jaiz Bank under the leadership of Malam Hassan Abdulkabir, has Friday paid a courtesy visit to the chairman of the Sokoto state Zakkat and Endowment Çommission.

Addressing the Chairman at the SOZECOM Secretariat of the bank, Malam Hassan Abdul Kareem reiterated the bank’s Commitment toward sustaining the long-standing relationship with the commission which is one the best and most intimate business partners.

He said the Management of the bank is at the SOZECOM secretariat intending to improve working relationships and ways of adding value in the years ahead.

The Executive Chairman of SOZECOM, Malam Muhammad Lawal Maidoki Sadaukin Sokoto, described the visit by the management of Jaiz Bank as timely, adding that the commission is always ready to keep the flag flying in business relationship with the Islamic bank.

Malam Muhammad Maidoki said the çommission has designated Jaiz an interest-free bank in raising and collecting of Zakat and waqaf by various Jumuat mosques in the state.

“JAIZ BANK being interest-free is in the front of all çommissions activities.”

Sadaukin Sokoto thanked the management of JAIZ BANK and prayed to Allah to reward them abundantly for their foresight.

In a related development, the executive chairman also received an Association of Volunteers on Waqf services under the aegis of the orphan support association on a courtesy visit to his office.

The leader of the Association Malam Bilyaminu Abubakar Assada informed the Sozecom chairman that their visit to the commission was aimed at seeking his advice on how best to move forward and support the activities of the commission.

Assada said currently the association is taking care of 11 orphans including their feeding, studies, and shelter among others.

He said the Association was established in 2008 and its main objective is to build the Association is take care of a large number of orphans and all their needs across the state.

Early speaking the Chairman of the Commission, Malam Muhammad Lawal Maidoki, commended the association for their foresight on this wonderful job, he said the commission’s door is always open to collaborate or partner with any association with kindness.

He thanked the association for the visit and prayed to Almighty Allah to keep their ambition with the light of faith and for Jannatul Fiddaus to be our last destination.
