Sokoto State Zakkat and Endowment Commission (SOZECOM) has commenced a four-day capacity building Workshop aimed at developing and enhancing the staff’s computer skills for effective service delivery.
Speaking at a dinner in honour of the visiting facilitator Dr. Najib Gambo, the Commission Chairman, Malam Lawal Maidoki disclosed that, the World is changing by the day, and its high time to optimize the paradigm shift of technological advancement in the management and administration of Zakkat and Endowment.
He appealed to the selected participants to utilize the opportunity judiciously with a view to achieve the set objective.
He expressed gratitude to the visiting facilitator Dr. Najib Abdulhamid Gambo for devoting his time and resources to facilitate the workshop for the sake of Allah.
He prayed Almighty Allah to reward the facilitator with Jannatul firdausi.
In his response, Dr. Najib A Gambo the facilitator of the workshop thanked the chairman of the Zakkat commission for giving him the opportunity to contribute his Educational Endowment to the Commission for the benefit of humanity.
He outlined the factual synopsis to be covered during the four-day Workshop which includes Information Management, documentation, digital publishing and the Nuts and bolts of having it done as well as event and project management among others.
He charged participants to prepare their minds and show total commitment to ensure a hitch free conduct of the four-day workshop.
