The Senator representing Sokoto East Senatorial District, Sen. Ibrahim Lamido on Saturday donated two Million Naira (2,000,000) to security Personnel fighting Insecurity in the eastern part of the state.
Senator Lamido made the donation Saturday as part of his contribution to the fight against insecurity bedeviling the area.
He said the donation was aimed at motivating the security Personnel in their efforts to protect the area from Kidnappers and Bandits attacks.
“I am fully aware that, security Personnel in the area have paid supreme price with their lives in their efforts to keep the area safe.
“This is just the beginning, I will continue to support you to succeed in this onerous task of fighting criminal gangs terrorizing my constituency and other parts of the state”
“May Allah continue to guide and protect you in your quest to give protection to rural Communities being terrorized daily by bandits and other criminal gangs.”
According to him, out of the 2,000,000 Naira, One Million naira will go to Soldiers, Seven hundred thousand Naira to the Police mobile force, and three hundred thousand Naira to the Vigilante group.
