The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially closed its online portal for data capture of intending 2026 Hajj pilgrims, a move that could affect thousands of prospective travelers from around the world, including Nigeria.

Authorities confirmed that only pilgrims whose information was successfully uploaded before the deadline will be allowed to proceed with subsequent Hajj arrangements, including visa processing and flight allocations.

Those who missed the deadline may face delays or risk exclusion from this year’s pilgrimage.

The closure marks a critical point in the 2026 Hajj preparation process, as it is a prerequisite for all administrative and logistical arrangements required by the Saudi authorities.

Nigerian pilgrims are advised to verify their data status immediately and coordinate with their state Hajj boards to confirm eligibility for the upcoming Hajj exercise.
