The Sarkin Gabas and District Head of Kabo, Idris Adamu Dankabo, has passed away at the age of 48.
He was the son of the late Jarman Kano, Muhammad Adamu Dankabo, and reportedly died in a car accident in the wee hours of Thursday in Kano.
The late traditional ruler is survived by his wife and two children.
His funeral prayer is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at the Emir of Kano’s Palace, Kofar Kudu, where the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, is expected to lead the rites.
