Katsina State Government has provided a N45,000 Sallah loan package to civil servants in the state to uplift the spirit and alleviate the financial burden during çelebration.
This was contained in a statement on Saturday by Chief Press Secretary to Governor, Ibrahim Mohammed Kaula.
According to the statement the package consist of ₦30,000 loan while ₦15,000 as a Sallah gift; the loan will be repaid in the month of July, August and September this year.
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Katsina state has commended the Governor for the gesture.
Comrade Yunusa Yanduna, the State NLC Chairman, noted that the package will assist civil servants in addressing financial challenges during the Sallah celebration.
