During a meeting with media representatives from BRICS nations, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed Moscow’s openness to join in discussions aimed at settling the conflict in Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, issued a warning, declaring, “This constitutes yet another provocation. The development of nuclear weapons is not a particularly difficult task in the modern world. I doubt that Ukraine has the capacity to carry out an endeavor of that nature at this time. Although it might not be simple for modern-day Ukraine, the procedure is reasonably simple and uncomplicated. This is a dangerous provocation because any action along this line will surely provoke an equal response.”
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine is charged with suggesting that if NATO membership is denied, his country may pursue nuclear weapons.
He informed the leaders of the European Union that Kyiv needs a strong deterrence to thwart Russian aggression.
The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated that his country has no plans to build nuclear weapons or to endanger the world with nuclear weapons.
He underlined the value of reliable information while pointing out that false claims have been distributed by some media channels.
Zelenskyy stated that he thought Ukraine ought to join NATO, pointing to the Budapest Memorandum, which allowed Ukraine to give up its nuclear weapons in return for guarantees of security and territorial integrity.
Putin indicated that he agreed with China’s and Brazil’s peace ideas, saying they may offer a strong basis for pursuing peace.
He firmly dismissed any possibility of concessions concerning the status of the four Ukrainian regions annexed by Moscow in September 2022.
