Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Nicolas Jackson and his situation at Chelsea.
Jackson is facing uncertainty at Club World Cup champions Chelsea amid the recent arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
Jackson completed a £32million move to Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023 and has scored 30 goals and 12 assists in 81 appearances ever since.
However, there is a belief that the 24-year-old doesn’t offer enough firepower, having scored just 10 Premier League goals last season.
Now Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth (via talkSPORT) has said United are among the clubs who are monitoring the striker and his future at Chelsea.
However, sales are said to be their current focus alongside a deal for Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo amid their opening £55m offer.
Jackson also has a long-term admirer in Aston Villa boss Unai Emery.
The pair worked together at Villarreal, with the forward featuring 27 times under the Spaniard across two seasons.
Jackson enjoyed a strong start to his second season at Chelsea with nine goals and three assists in the league before the festive period.
He then missed their final two games of the campaign having been shown a straight red card in their 2-0 defeat at Newcastle.
But Jackson bounced back in their 4-1 Conference League final win over Real Betis by netting their second goal of the night.
Another red card soon followed though, this time against Flamengo at the Club World Cup just four minutes after being brought on.
Chelsea won the tournament by beating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 on Sunday night, with Jackson not featuring in the final, during which his new striker rival Pedro scored their third from Cole Palmer’s assist.
Delap was also involved as one of their four substitutes, whilst Marc Guiu remained on the bench.
