The stage is now set for the maiden edition of the Nigeria Nationa League (NNL) Ahlan Pre-season tournament as competition gets underway in Kano.
According to the tournament’s Coordinator, Aba Huraira Dahiru, the competition will start from the 18th to the 30th of January 2023 in Kano.
He further disclosed that the tournament is organized to motivate the participating teams ahead of the forthcoming 2022/23 season.
Consequently, the Coordinator further added that a Central Working Committee and Sub-Committees have been set up for the success of the tournament.
Sixteen teams are expected to participate in the tournament which will last for eight days.
All games will be played at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, Kano,
Some of the participating teams are.
Kano pillars Fc, Jigawa GST, Katsina United Fc, ABS Ilori Fc, City FC Abuja, EFCC Abuja Fc, Adamawa United Fc, Yobe desert Fc, Sokoto United Fc, Kebbi United Fc, Malumfashi Fc, Mighty jet Fc, Mailantarki Fc, Kano selected Fc, Zamfara United Fc, Green Beret Fc, Barrera Fc, DMD Fc, and many others NNL teams across the country.
