The Kaduna State Police Command has summoned the immediate past governor of the state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, along with several key members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), for questioning over alleged criminal activities.
In a letter dated September 4, 2025, the police stated that El-Rufai and the party officials were invited in connection with allegations of criminal conspiracy, incitement of public disturbance, mischief, and causing grievous hurt.
According to the invitation, the individuals are to appear before the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) on September 8, 2025, to respond to the complaints lodged against them.
Those listed in the police letter include Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Bashir Sa’idu, Jafaru Sani, and Ubaidullah Mohammed (aka 30).
Others are Nasiru Maikano, Aminu Abita, and Ahmed Rufa’i Hussaini (aka Mikiya)
The Command noted that their presence is required to clarify issues surrounding the case currently under investigation.
