The new Miss New Jersey 2023 is Ms. Ozioma Chukwudi, a Nigerian from Mmaku in the Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
She beat several other contestants to the coveted crown, which now puts her in pole position to contest the Miss USA crown later this year.
An international banker with JP Morgan, Ms. Chukwudi has been a trailblazer since her secondary education at Louisville Girls College Ijebu Itele, graduating in 2014, as the year valedictorian of her set.
Ms. Chukwudi spent a one-semester session at the University of Lagos, leaving behind a 5.0 GPA before relocating to Berea College Kentucky USA, to continue with her academics.
As predicted, on graduation Ms. Chukwudi was the cynosure of all eyes, having set a record in academic excellence at the College.
She did only make a First Class in her main course Economics but also in Administration a second course she pursued side by side, with her main course.
Her records in academics and leadership have always gone before her everywhere. No wonder it did not long before internationally reputed Bank JP Morgan head hunted her in 2019, where she is now an outstanding Investment Banker.
With her new conquest, Ms. Chukwudi becomes the face of tourism in New Jersey, promoting inclusiveness and gender with her public appearances.
Speaking on her success winning the pageant CEO of Asset & Wealth Management, JP Morgan|(front role in a photo of some of her colleagues at JP Morgan below) applauded Ms. Chukwudi for the feat. She said “Ozioma is such a beauty and brains. She will further the bank in her new role.”
The CEO was 2022 most powerful woman in the finance industry.
