Kano Pillars defeated Enyimba 2-0 in their rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 14 encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Thursday.
Enterprising striker Abba Adam scored both goals for the Sai Masu Gida.
Adam gave Kano Pillars the lead in the 26th minute after a long period of dominance.
The striker netted the second goal of the evening 18 minutes from time.
Enyimba have now failed to score in their last five visits to Kano.
Kano Pillars moved to seventh position on the standings following the impressive victory.
Stanley Eguma’s Enyimba dropped to eighth position after another disappointing defeat.
The second half of the 2024/25 NPFL season will get underway this weekend.
