The Kano Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated the Kano State Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Kabiru Ado Minjibir for emerging as the new Deputy National President of the NLC Congress at its 13th quadrennial delegates conference held in Abuja.
A statement signed by the NUJ Kano Chairman, Comrade Abbas Ibrahim, and Secretary General, Comrade Abba Murtala also congratulated the National President of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Comrade Marwan Adamu Mustapha for winning the position of National President, Financial Secretary of the NLC.
The statement described the election of the duo as appropriate in view of their track records.
The Kano Council NUJ expressed confidence they will live up to expectations and wished them everything pleasant in their new National assignments.
