A pressure group under the aegis of the Koko Area Development Association (KOADA) has written to the Management of MTN Mobile Telecommunication Network soliciting urgent intervention to resolve the network problem of the service provider in Koko, Koko-Besse Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
A concerned citizen and Chairman of Koko Youths Education Development Association KOYEDA Bashar Abdullahi Hircin in a letter written and addressed to the Chairman Chief Executive of MTN Nigeria said the teeming subscribers of MTN service provider in the Koko area and its environs are having serious network challenges for quite a long period, especially between the hours of 6 pm to 6 am daily.
He said, in the letter that, people in the area found it extremely difficult to communicate with their loved ones and business partners with MTN lines within the aforementioned period.
Hircin further stated that Koko being a commercial center in Kebbi State, has numerous MTN subscribers but the poor network epileptic service forced many to opt for other service providers whose network is more effective and efficient in the area.
“We are equally faced with security challenges mostly at night and we cannot reach out to security agencies through MTN lines as a result of epileptic and poor network connectivity.
“This has negatively affected our communication hence the need for your urgent intervention in this regard.
“We therefore solicit for your immediate and urgent attention of your technical team to tackle the challenge or the community will be left with no option than to migrate to other service providers available in the community.”
