Moffi Returns to Training After Lengthy Injury Layoff

News Desk

Terem Moffi returned to full training at Ligue 1 club OGC Nice on Wednesday after his lengthy injury layoff.

Moffi copped a cruciate ligament injury during training before the start of the 2024/25 season.

The Nigeria international was sidelined for around six months due to the injury.

The 25-year-old could return to action for Les Aiglons before the end of the month.

The forward joined Nice from another Ligue 1 club, Lorient on loan in January 2023. The move was made permanent at the end of the season.

Moffi scored six goals in 16 league appearances during that spell.

He was the club’s top scorer last season with 11 goals in 30 league appearances.
