Kano State Polytechnic (KSP) has again secured additional unit schools at Rogo Local Government Area of Kano State.
The Spokesperson of KSP, Auwal Ismail Bagwai in a statement said the development was made known by the Rector, Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa while briefing members of the Polytechnic Academic Board (PAB) during its 92nd meeting on Tuesday
According to the statement, Dungurawa revealed that the management has approved the renaming of the Institution’s Academic Planning Department to the Academic Planning and Research Development Department.
Dr. Dungurawa furthermore said that the management has approved the establishment of the Guidance and Counselling Unit and appointed Zainab Ahmad Mokhadem as the pioneer Coordinator of the Unit.
In the same vein, Dr. Zainab Sani Kofar Mata was appointed as the new SIWES, Coordinator, Shehu Usman Ibrahim as Head of the Servicom Unit, DSP Sani Sulaiman (rtd) as the new Chief Security Officer.
The appointment of Auwal Alhaji Ismail as the Protocol Officer, and Abdurrazak Ibrahim as the Transport Officer of the Institution was also confirmed.
The Rector commended the efforts of Unit School Directors, Head of Departments, Examination Officers as well as the Academic Department for the successful completion of the session.
He urged them to ensure timely marking, compilation, and presentation of students’ results.
Dungurawa assured all level Coordinators that their second-semester coordination allowance will be paid by next week, insha’Allah.
He directs all heads of Departments to commence the process of the 2022/2023 admission exercise since applicants’ information has been uploaded by the Academic Department.
