Kebbi is a Peaceful State – Bagudu tells Corps Members

The Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has told all the 2023 Batch A Stream II Corp members that Kebbi State is a peaceful state as such they should take it as their second home.

Bagudu who visited the orientation camp yesterday assured the Service Corps that Kebbi State is known for peace and that security operatives have been directed to double efforts to ensure they have a hitch-free service year.

The Governor who was represented by the Chairman of Jega Local Government, Hon Murtala Musa Habib Jega on the occasion, said the State Government is doing all it can to improve the welfare of the Members of the youth service Corps.

Hon Murtala charged the Corps Members to shun all forms of drug abuse, cultism, corruption, and other forms of social vices that are inimical to the image of the Country and also wished them a successful service year.

Speaking while delivering her welcome address the State Coordinator, Mrs. Okolo Agatha Banki, said that she wants to use this medium to highlight a few challenges in the Orientation Camp, which includes, completion of male hostel 4, which will increase the capacity of the Corps Members in the Orientation Camp and provision of additional Staff quarters.

She then thanked the Kebbi State Government for its commitment toward eliminating the suffering of the Corps Members, urge the newly swearing Corps member to be Dedicated to their primary assignments, and used the skills and works training experience acquire from the orientation camp to be self-employed.
