As the Presidential elections draw closer and political campaigns gather momentum, the APC campaign train comprising the gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, DG campaign, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari and prominent political figures of the party took the campaign rally to Arewa Local Government Area.
The APC campaign machinery on Tuesday traversed the nooks and crannies of Arewa Local Government, meeting their supporters and community leaders to garner support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential flag bearer of APC, Kebbi gubernatorial candidate, and Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu as the candidate for Kebbi Central Senatorial Zone and all APC candidates.
As the APC campaign train passed from village to village, men, women, and youths came out in large numbers along the roads waving and chanting the APC slogans in solidarity.
Speaking at the palace of the District Head of Bachaka, the APC DG campaign, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, former Governor of Kebbi State expressed satisfaction with the warm reception from the District Head, Mai Arewan Bachaka, Yakubu Maiyaki, and his people.
He called on the people of the area to unite under one party, the platform of APC to continue to reap the dividends of democracy.
Dakingari assured the teeming APC supporters that the APC gubernatorial candidate, Kauran Gwandu would sustain the developmental projects carried out by the incumbent administration of Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and even improve upon them.
The campaign DG said the people of Bachaka were direct beneficiaries of government projects, particularly roads that have enhanced the economic fortunes of the area.
He charged the people to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria, Kauran Gwandu, as the next governor of Kebbi State as well as all APC candidates from top to bottom.
The APC gubernatorial candidate Dr. Kauran Gwandu in his address at the campaign expressed appreciation to the District Head of Bachaka for receiving them warmly.
Kauran Gwandu assured them that, if elected as the next governor, he would improve on the record of achievements left by former Governor, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari and the incumbent administration of Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
The gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Kauran Gwandu, and his running mate, Senator Umar Tafida re-echoed their appeal for people to vote for all APC candidates, promising sustained development.
If elected, he promised to lay emphasis on dry season farming, among others in the area to further enhance food production.
He commended Mai Arewan Bachaka for the peaceful coexistence of people in his domain, urging them to collect their PVCs and vote for APC.
Earlier, the Council Chairman of Arewa Local Government, Hon. Sani Aliyu Tela, Alhaji Amadu Jankuka, the Chairman of Yeldu Area Development, Alhaji Suleiman Yaldu, and the Director of Publicity, APC campaign Council, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant elaborated on the myriad of developmental projects executed in the area, particularly on roads which according to them made the area accessible and open for business.
Alhaji Sahabi Lolo, APC, Zonal Vice-Chairman, Kebbi North reassured the people of Bachaka that all APC candidates from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate down to Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, APC gubernatorial candidate were all credible candidates capable of serving people well he said.
He described Kauran Gwandu as a teacher, all his life is dedicated to serving people, so vote for Kauran Gwandu as your next Governor,” he urged.
APC Senatorial candidate, Kebbi North, retired Comptroller of Customs, Federal Operations, Dr. Hussaini Suleiman Kangiwa, Sarkin Arawan Kabi assured the APC gubernatorial candidate that the people of Bachaka will vote for APC.
The APC candidate vying for the State House of Assembly seat in the area and former Commissioner of Water Resources, Hon Nura Usman Kangiwa in his remarks also appealed to people to vote for Kaura Gwandu and all APC candidates.
He promised to serve them diligently if elected into the state House of Assembly.
