The Kebbi State Governorship Candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Nasiru Idris Kaura Gwandu, has pledged to the people of the state of finding ways to improve the economy, Infrastructure, health, youth empowerment, Education, civil servants, and security of the state.
The Governorship Candidate gave the assurance at the flag-off of his campaign train at Yauri in the southern senatorial zone of the state.
He said, the southern part of the state will benefit most especially in the Agriculture aspect, and also a lot will be done on the security challenges which need to be tackled completely.
The Candidate also assured of providing farm implements to the people of the area considering them as farmers to ease their farming activities.
He equally assured them that he will continue from where the present administration stopped especially on the road networks, agriculture, and others.
According to him, his administration if elected would give even distribution of government programs to the people of the state and as well as be fair and just.
Kaura Gwandu said that more sectors will be developed which is going to be across the 21 local government areas of the State.
He then solicited the votes of the people for the Presidential, Governor, Senate, House of Representatives, and Assembly seats.
Also Speaking, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Chika Mallami has called on all the people of Kebbi State and Nigerians to vote for APC from top to down following the achievements recorded by the present administration in the country.
He added that President Muhammad Buhari has brought different policies and programs that impacted the people, such as the Anchor Borrowers program, empowering youth through small-scale loans, and the constitution of federal roads, and state roads.
In his remarks, the former Kebbi State Governor and Director General Governorship campaign for the 2023 general election, Alhaji Saidu Usman Dakingari has accused the PDP of using poverty and security to campaign against the APC.
He added that despite the global economic challenges Nigeria has survived and was able to feed itself by promoting agriculture.
“We thank this Government for showing people way on how to farm and feed, there is no poverty in Kebbi because of the rice revolution” he added.
“I wanted to retire from active politics but because of the APC Governorship candidate Dr. Gwandu’s goodness and honesty I decided to remain and support his candidature,” he said.
In his Speech, the Kebbi State Governor Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu also seeks more support in order for the APC to win the general elections.
He urges people to vote APC presidential candidate and all the APC candidates in the state and Nigeria at large.
