Kano state Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has fixed 31st January 2026 for its Annual General Meeting (AGM)/Election.
The decision was made at the end of the State Executive Council meeting of the Chapter, Sunday following the expiration of the tenure of the Executive Members.
The statement is revealed that a 5-man Electoral Committee has been formed to organize and conduct the election of new executive council members during the AGM.
Malam Aminu Hamza is the Chairman of the committee, Musbahu Aminu Yakasai Secretary, whle Malam Aminu Inuwa, Professor Mainasara Yakubu Kurfi and Uba Abdullahi are to serve as members.
Meanwhile, a 15-man Local Organizing Committee (LOC) was also set up under the Chairmanship of Aliyu Yusuf, while Usman Gwadabe is to serve as the secretary.
The LOC is to oversee the general conduct of the Annual General Meeting.
