Kano State Government, on Thursday, led an Armed Forces Remembrance Day parade in honour of fallen heroes, including Nigerian soldiers who lost their lives in active service, as well as retired and serving military personnel.
The event was held to commemorate the bravery and sacrifices of officers and men of the Armed Forces who defended the nation.
Umar Farouk Ibrahim, the Secretary to the Kano State Government, represented Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at the parade.
The ceremony was attended by senior security officials, military veterans, and families of fallen soldiers, who gathered to pay tribute to those who gave their lives in the service of the country.
