Parents and caregivers have been charged to produce their children who are less than 5 years of age for immunisation as the Kaduna State Government, in collaboration with development partners, commences another round of polio immunisation campaigns.
The exercise is scheduled for March 2 to 5, 2024 and will be conducted by vaccinators during house-to-house visits and immunization on the streets, worship centres, markets, and motor parks, among others.
A joint statement issued by the Coordinator Immunization Against Polio (JAP), Lawal Dogara, said the immunization is in collaboration with Kaduna State Primary Health Care Development Board.
He advised that immunization would protect children as such parents should ensure they allow the vaccinators to attend to their wards.
