The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has secured quality accommodation for its intending pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
This was disclosed in a statement on Wednesday by the Board’s spokesperson, Habibu Yusuf Babura, in Dutse.
According to the statement, the secured accommodation is located within an 800-meter walking distance from the Holy Mosque in Makkah.
The Director-General of the board, Ahmad Labbo, described the development as a demonstration of the board’s dedication to providing a smooth and fulfilling Hajj experience for pilgrims from Jigawa State.
He urged intending pilgrims to make timely payments of the Hajj fare, set at ₦8,457,680.
He also emphasized that early payment is crucial for effective logistical planning and the overall success of the pilgrimage.
Labbo further revealed that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has allocated 1,518 seats to Jigawa State for the 2025 Hajj exercise, while setting January 30 as the deadline for registration of intending pilgrims.
