The Farin Dutse Community in Gwaram Local Government of Jigawa State applauds and expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Governor Umar Namadi for the recent award of a contract for the upgrade and conversion of its motorized water scheme to a solar-powered system estimated to cost over N17,451,000 million as contained in the state executive resolution.
Speaking to Stallion Times on Tuesday on behalf of the Farin Dutse Community, the Tafidan Farin Dutse, Yunusa Hamza, said the initiative will undoubtedly impact our socio-economic, health, and political landscape.
According to him, upgrading to a solar-powered water system will ensure a consistent and sustainable supply of clean water, significantly improving our community’s health by reducing waterborne diseases. Moreover, reliable access to water will enhance agricultural productivity and overall economic activities, and boost our local economy.
The Tafidan Farin Dutse explained that the project demonstrates a commitment to renewable energy, promoting environmental sustainability and setting a precedent for future developments.
“Over 15,000 inhabitants from within and environs of Farin Dutse will continue to pray and support Governor’s Namadi administration in attaining and delivering its mandate of addressing Governance challenges and improving service delivery to tally with our community’s needs and enhancing our quality of life.
