Governor Yusuf Instructs Aides to Declare Assets

News Desk

Governor Abba Yusuf has instructed all his appointees to declare their assets for effective transparency and accountability in the state.

The governor made this known during Ramadan Iftar with heads of Government agencies and Special Advisers as part of a series of Iftar sessions organized by the state government during this year’s Ramadan period.

While reminding the appointees of the burden upon them, the governor urged them to promptly obtain, complete, and submit the necessary forms, to ensure compliance with the law as records have shown that about 60 to 70 per cent of the appointees are yet to comply with the Code of Conduct rules and directives of declaring assets.

Responding on behalf of other appointees the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Contributory Health Care Management Agency (KCHIMA),Dr Rahila Mukhtar, thanked the governor for his support and the confidence he has in them for finding them worthy to be appointed..
