Ganduje Inaugurates Empowerment For Youths, Women in Kano

The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has inaugurated the empowerment of 484 youth and women who received cash, sewing machines and motorcycles in Kano.

Delivering an address yesterday at the event, Ganduje, who was represented by Mukhtar Adamu, his deputy chief of staff, expressed appreciation to Nasiru Ja’oji for empowering youths and women in the state.

“This is in response to the recent call made by President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to all his political appointees to evolve strategies for cushioning the effects of global economic realities” he stated.

In his speech, the leading APC member from Nasarawa in Kano state, Nasiru Ja’oji, who is also a member governing council, Federal College of Education, Potiskum, Yobe state, described the empowerment as part of his personal effort as a political appointee in the current administration to support growth and development.

“Today’s event is for 484 carefully selected beneficiaries, where 4 people will be given a cash grant of one million naira each, the sum of one hundred thousand naira will be given to 200 people each, as 100 people will be empowered with the sum of fifty thousand naira each.

“Still, in today’s event, 100 people will be empowered with the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira each, while 50 people will smile back home with a sewing machine each and 30 people will be empowered with a motorbike each.

“I am assuring all that, President Tinubu’s administration is putting all the necessary measures and machinery in place to take us, Nigerians, out of poverty and other related human setbacks.

“This empowerment is part of my personal efforts as political appointee in this administration, in putting hands and heads together with President Tinubu for growth and development purposes. All in the spirit of our party’s manifesto, the All Progressives Congress (APC)” he stated.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Abdullahi Musa, who was empowered with a motorcycle, expressed their thanks and continued support to Ja’oji, while calling other wealthy individuals to emulate him.
