The Jigawa State Government began introducing state civil servants to farming this week as part of its proposed N3 billion agricultural program for civil servants.

The program aims to give interested civil servants a soft loan for working capital for wet and dry sessions, fertilizers, and farm inputs.

Nonetheless, Governor Umar Namadi has agriculture transformation as one of his top priorities. His many innovative approaches to modernizing agriculture are amazing.

The action produces favorable outcomes.

The nation’s agricultural stakeholders have been drawn to Governor Umar Namadi’s agricultural revolution and food policy.

In particular, Federal employees were urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to follow Jigawa State’s lead and lend money to employees for agricultural purposes.

In addition to reducing food insecurity, this action will enhance the quality of life for public employees.

It further stated that civil servants possess precise data for recovery and distribution.
