Sokoto state governor-elect Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has successfully completed his Doctorate Degree in Business Administration at the Nasarawa State University.
This came to the fore at the 7th convocation ceremony held at the University’s Convocation Theatre in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
The thesis of Dr. Aliyu is on the ‘Effect of servant leadership on performance of selected companies in Nigeria.’
Dr. Ahmad Aliyu, alongside other one hundred and thirty-seven (137) graduands were formally awarded PhDs at a colourful convocation ceremony that attracted dignitaries from all walks of life.
Responding to questions from newsmen shortly after being awarded his Ph.D., Aliyu described the journey to his doctorate degree as very rigorous, tough, time and energy-consuming.
“To acquire a PhD one has to tighten his belt and work extra hard.
“It took me about 5 years to complete this program. In fact, I have been on it since when I was the Deputy Governor.
“But I thank Almighty Allah for seeing me through this program and I thank everyone who in one way or the other contributed to the success of this project,” Dr. Aliyu stated,
The 7th convocation ceremony was witnessed by the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, traditional rulers, politicians, and a host of other dignitaries.
