To promote quality education and ensure conducive learning environments across the Hadejia Emirate, the Emir of Hadejia and Chairman of the Jigawa State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness (Dr.) Adamu Abubakar Maje Haruna has continued his surprise inspection visits to schools within the emirate.

The latest stop on the Emir’s ongoing monitoring tour was Yalo District in Kaugama Local Government Area, where he visited Yalo and Bayin Kwari Primary Schools to assess teaching and learning conditions.

During the visit, the Chief Imam of Hadejia Central Mosque, Sheikh Yusuf Abdulrahman Ya’u, interacted directly with pupils by asking them questions in subjects such as Hausa, English, Arabic, and even the practical aspects of performing the Sallah prayer.

The exercise aimed to test the pupils’ comprehension and encourage active learning.

Addressing the students and teachers, the Emir commended the schools for their efforts but emphasized the need for continuous improvement in teaching standards and students’ performance.

He blessed the pupils and encouraged them to remain committed to their studies, stressing that education is the foundation of leadership and national development.

“I urge you all to study hard, respect your teachers, and make your parents proud.

“You are the leaders of tomorrow, and your dedication to learning today will determine the progress of our society,” the Emir said.

The Emir’s ongoing inspection tour, according to palace sources, is part of a broader initiative to revive educational standards, motivate teachers, and ensure that every child in the Hadejia Emirate has access to quality education in a safe and supportive environment.
