The 19th Emir of Dutse in Jigawa State, Alhaji Hamim Nuhu Sanusi, has visited APC leader in Sokoto State, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman Sokoto in his hometown, Sokoto.
The Emir said he was in the State to condole the Senator over the demise of his close friend, the late Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Muhammadu Nuhu Sanusi who was coincidentally his father.
The traditional ruler described Sen. Wamakko as a good father who made a lot of invaluable commitments during the funeral arrangements of the late Emir of Dutse.
He pledged to continue to be a loyal son to Sen. Wamakko and asked for more fatherly support and wise counsel for him to excel during his reign.
The Emir also used the medium to congratulate the Senator on the successful outcome during the just-concluded 2023 polls which brought President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, and many APC contestants to power.
He described Sen. Wamakko as a trusted, reliable, and committed leader who is still living peacefully with his people, indicating his good leadership.
The Emir prayed the Almighty Allah to continue to help Sen. Wamakko to discharge his duty diligently and in good health, at all times.
Responding, Wamakko expressed delight with the visit of the Emir of Dutse to his residence.
Sen. Wamakko, while congratulating the Emir on his successful turbaning succeeding his late father, described the deceased as a brilliant and pious leader.
Wamakko prayed to Allah, the Almighty to continue to bring lasting peace to the country for more rapid socio-economic development.
Wamakko said: “With the present tempo of a renewed commitment by the Federal Government, there is hope for a brighter tomorrow in terms of tackling security threats in the country.”
He thanked the Emir for the visit and wished him a safe back trip to Jigawa State.
The Emir was led on the visit by the Galadiman Garin Sokoto, Alhaji Aliyu Attahiru Galadanci, accompanied by the Wazirin Dutse, Alhaji Alh. Bashir Dalhatu.
Others on the Emir’s entourage were: Alhaji Mustapha Aminu Dutse, the Wanbai of Dutse, Alhaji Shu’aibu Muhammad, Dankwanon Dutse, and Alhaj Wada Alhaji, the Sarkin Fadar Dutse.
The 42-year- ld Royal Father was turbaned on the 5th of February 2023 after the demise of his father, Alhaji Muhammadu Nuhu Sanusi.
