Nigerian Civil servants have all cause to celebrate democracy day as the country’s democratic system provided them with enabling environment for discharging their duties.
The Kano State Head of Service and Chief of Staff of Government House, Alhaji Usman Bala Mni stated this in his democracy day message which was contained in a statement he issued to newsmen by the Director Public Enlightenment, Hajiya Bintu Nuhu Yakasa.
He said executives under the Democratic government in the country had recognized civil servants as the engine room of government for deriving any policy and programs for social and economic development.
“Civil servants are partners to the executives in national building and as such we must celebrate the day and thank Almighty God for all the blessings.
“The cordial relationship between Kano state government and civil servants as well as other state and federal has co tributes immensely to the delivering the dividend of democracy to the electorate.”
Alhaji. Usman then described Nigeria’s Democracy Day every 12th in the month of June as a worthy celebration for every good person in the country.
