Former two-time unified Heavyweight Champion of the World Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) fights at The O2 in London for the first time since 2016 to face another American contender in Jermain Franklin (21-1, 14 KOs).

This fight marks the start of a rebuild for Joshua who will be looking to show that he is still a dangerous force in the heavyweight division. AJ’ has lost three of his last five fights but he’ll be hoping to get back to his best and repair his reputation against Franklin.

989 Assassin’ is coming off the back of a controversial defeat to Dillian Whyte with the American claiming he was ‘robbed’ by the judges.

That fight was his first in the UK and for his second English bout, he is now set to take on the former two-time heavyweight world champion Joshua. This 12-round heavyweight bout will take place on Saturday, April 1.

The undercard is set to get underway at 6 pm with the main event clash expected at around 10:30 pm. The undercard is as follows:
