Amalgamated APC Support Group (AASG) in Kano says President Tinubu’s policies since his assumption of office are positively building the country in different sectors.

It called on Nigerians to be positive-minded toward the administration’s policies.

AASG’s leader, Engr. Salisu Magaji made the call while briefing newsmen at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat of the Kano Council on Tuesday.

he said the president’s effort to elevate the country’s state since his first 100 days in office is yielding positive results.

According to Magaji, the renewed hope agenda of Tinubu is set out to Build a Nigeria, especially for the youth, with sufficient jobs and decent wages to create a better life.

He added that soon enough, Nigeria shall be known as a nation of creators, not just of consumers as the country will export more and import less, thereby strengthening both the naira.

Magaji pointed out that as Nigerians look forward to the renewed hope Agenda of Mr President he has exhibited his political dexterity by setting the ball rolling immediately by removing the fuel subsidy.

“The president’s action marks the beginning of a historic event by implementing the policy of subsidy removal in Nigeria. In 2022 alone the subsidy was estimated to cost the country over N3 trillion.

“The Government reveals between June and July the Administration has saved up to N1 trillion from the removal of subsidy. This money could have been lost out to subsidy payments that are shrouded in secrecy.

“The money will now be used to fund infrastructure and other development programs for the betterment of Nigerians.

“The president being a seasoned administrator understands the importance of creating a conducive environment for business to thrive, he makes the provision of power supply and security as cardinal principle of his administration.

“In his effort to try and cushion the unintended effects of the subsidy removal he approved the disbursement of N5 billion to 36 states of the country to provide palliatives to Nigerians.

“He has equally approved N15 billion to be shared with Nigerians through cash transfers by the humanitarian ministry.

“It’s on this note I’m calling on Nigerians to keep hope alive and support the president through this journey of Economic liberation. Thank you and God bless you all for listening,” Engr Magaji said.
