Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has acknowledged the mammoth crowd of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters at the campaign rally and urged them to translate it to massive votes during the forthcoming election.
Bagudu expressed delight that the people of the area were 100 percent for APC, urging, them to, vote massively for the Presidential Candidate of all APC Tinubu/ Shetima and Dr. Nasir Kauran Gwandu.
The Governor made the commendation this Saturday at the APC campaign rally at Ribah, Danko Wasagu Local Government area of Kebbi State.
He promised to sustain the ongoing efforts to bolster security, just as he acknowledged the efforts of the security agencies, other volunteers, and critical stakeholders in providing security in the area.
He appreciated the efforts of Hajiya Tsahara Bawa, former Commissioner of Women Affairs, the Chairperson of Maga/Kyabu Area Development Council, Hajiya Hafsat, and all the Women in the area for their support and loyalty to APC.
The Governor also thanked Senator Bala Ibn Na-Allah, Hon Kabiru Tukura, and all the APC candidates in the area for the various developmental projects they have executed in the area, urging people to vote for Tinubu/Shettima and Kauran Gwandu and all APC candidates during the election.
Bagudu happily announced his approval for the renovation of the Zuru/Riba road and the construction of Riba township roads.
The Governor told the crowd that the NNPC Bio-Fuel project in the area would soon commence production and Danko Wasagu would join the league of areas producing fuel through cassava.
While reiterating his appreciation to security personnel and the vigilante for their laudable efforts in protecting the lives and properties of people, he assured the people that additional security personnel would be provided in the area to bolster security.
Bagudu described Ribah people as hard-working and truthful, saying, “they always keep to their words and we trust to do so during the elections.”
Kebbi State APC governorship candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu also thanked people for coming out in large numbers to support APC.
He promised to accord top priority to the security of lives and property of the citizens of the state if elected.
According to him, security is very crucial to ensuring the success of the various other sectors of the nation’s economy particularly agriculture.
“The APC government is a people-oriented government and we will not relent in efforts to protect the sanctity of lives and property of the people of the state if elected.
The APC gubernatorial flag bearer also pledged to initiate more empowerment schemes for women, youths, and other vulnerable persons.
“We will also prioritize agriculture to guarantee food security, curb unemployment and curb youths’ restiveness.”
The APC Chairman in the local Government, Hon Abu Yayi, and the State APC Chairman, Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru expressed delight with the large turnout of supporters and called on the people to ensure they collect their PVC in other to Massively vote for APC from top to bottom.
The Director General of the campaign Council, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, former Governor of Kebbi State thanked people for their show of support for APC he described the governorship candidates and the Presidential Candidate of the APC as men who can be trusted to there for urge the people to vote massively for APC during the election.
The campaign team has earlier visited Bena, Wasagu, Kanya, and Waje to seek fatherly blessings from the traditional rulers of the areas.
