APC Edo SWC Passes Vote Of Confidence on Chairman, Secretary

Ahead of the September 21 Governorship election in Edo State, the State Working Committee (SWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has passed an implicit confidence on the State Chairman, Jarrett Tenebe and State secretary, Engr. Lawrence Okah.

The SWC also saluted the Governorship and Deputy Governorship candidates of the Party, Senator Monday Okpekholo and Hon. Dennis Idahosa for their dogged and unparalleled efforts in driving the campaign of the party, which it acknowledged; has become the envy of other parties.

This was contained in a statement by the Party State Publicity Secretary, Prince Peter Uwadiae Enosorogbe Igbinigie Esq and availed the media in Benin-City.

The vote of confidence on the Chairman and Secretary by the SWC was passed at an emergency meeting “after members brainstormed and x-rayed how well the Party has fared in her effort to wrestle power from the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP),” Igbinigie said.

“It was a show of conviviality and robust strategic engagement aimed at detonating all the negative vices occasioned by the other political parties; with a view to ensuring a resounding victory at the polls come September 21st, 2024.

“At the end of the meeting, members were happy and felicitated our indefatigable and resourceful Chairman, Emperor Jarret Tenebe and the ever dynamic and ebullient State secretary, Engr. Lawrence Osarobo Okah for their unshakable determination to make sure we come tops in the election.

“Jn the spirit of the eulogies and encomium from members; on the Chairman and Secretary, a vote of implicit confidence was then passed in our State Chairman, Emperor Jarret Tenebe and State secretary Engr. Lawrence Osarobo Okah for these wonderful works done thus far,” he said.

They were urged to continue to demonstrate these leadership qualities which have brought an enviable face to the party in the State.

The Chairman while responding, thanked members of the working committee and sued for the sustenance of this unity, as there is still a lot to be done to ensure this much awaited victory.
