All Kaduna State Labour Party Support Groups Elect Excos

All Kaduna State Labour Party Citizens-based Support Groups have strengthened their structures by electing their Executive Committee Members across the 3 Senatorial Zones in the State.

A statement on Thursday by the spokesperson of the group, Paul Onwude said the election took place at the premises of the Labour Party Secretariat at Nagwamatse House in Kaduna.

The election was conducted by the officials of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council Intervention Team led by Mr. Yusuf Solomon Danbaki, who is the Coordinator of the Team. He was assisted by Mr. Nuhu Bahago, who represented the Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour Party in Kaduna State; Rt. Hon. Jonathan Asake.

Before the commencement of the elections, however, the Leadership of all the various Labour Party Support Groups passed a vote of confidence on Hon. Chief Morrison Ikpeamaeze for the umpteenth time as Chairman of ALL the Labour Party Support Groups in Kaduna State.

The Election was an open ballot, where the support group Leaders elected their Exco for the purpose of smooth planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing the campaigns and structures going forward.

The following persons were elected to various positions; namely, Deputy zone 1- Abashiya Stephen, Deputy zone 2 – Al-Ameen Arsalan, and Deputy zone 3- Austine Samuel Ayok.

The General Secretary is Hajiya Rukayya Salihu, and assisted by Markus Musa.

In the same vein, Mr. Paul Onwude was elected Spokesperson: 1, while Spokesperson 2 is  Nnaemeka Chikezie Esq and Aliyu Umar is Spokesperson 3. 

Comrade Muhammad Usman was elected PRO. The Legal Adviser is Timothy Maigeri. The group unanimously elected Mrs. Margaret Samson as the director of Finance.

While Madam Maryann Daniels was elected Auditor General 1, Auditor General 2 is Solomon Gandu. The elected Contact and Mobilisation Officer 1 is Aliyu Mohammed Lawal and Contact and Mobilisation Officer 2 is Arc. Julius Uwua. The Director of Strategic Planning 1 elected is  Mr. Francis Peter of the Civil Society Action Group and he is assisted by Mr. Ali Anthony as Director of Strategic Planning 2.

The Social Media Director 1 elected was Mrs. Oladipo Rebecca, while Social Media Director 2- was Alex Decent and Social Media Director 3 is Stephen Philip. Also, Mr. Habila Bege was elected Organizing Secretary/Field Director 1 and Organizing Secretary/ Field Director 2- Francis Peter.

The Women Mobilizer 1 elected was Linda Kimza, while the Women Mobilizer 2- is  Chidinma Onwuorah, and Women Mobility 3- Kasham Solomon elected across the 3 Senatorial Districts of Kaduna State.

Youth Mobilizer 1 was unanimously and overwhelmingly elected as Mallam Aliyu Maiwada to be assisted by Youth Mobilizer 2- Oluchukwu Obi.

The Head of the Medical Team elected as Medical Director 1 was Dr. David Chindo, and supported by Medical Director 2- Chikaodili Onyishi, and Medical Director 3- Sarah Gada.

Meanwhile, Evans Obi was elected Welfare Director 1 and assisted by Esther Gaiya as Welfare Director 2. Ruqayya Mohammed emerged as the Security Director.

The Executive Committee Members-elect was immediately sworn in by Barrister Deborah Arastus Esq.
