The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has directed all Air Component Commanders across operational theatres to intensify precision air operations and deliver smarter, harder, and more decisive strikes against insurgents, terrorists, and criminal elements threatening Nigeria’s peace and stability.

Air Marshal Aneke gave the directive during a high-level strategic meeting with theatre commanders held on Wednesday in Abuja, where he emphasized the need for greater coordination and intelligence-driven warfare to achieve lasting security across the country.

According to a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the Air Chief noted that the days ahead would require agility, precision, and professionalism, stressing that every mission must reflect purpose, patriotism, and discipline.

While reaffirming his commitment to the welfare, capacity development, and operational effectiveness of Air Force personnel, Air Marshal Aneke said the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) would continue to prioritize innovation, technology, and training to enhance mission success.

He further assured that the NAF remains steadfast in supporting the Federal Government’s vision of a peaceful and secure Nigeria, while upholding international standards of conduct, accountability, and human rights in all operations.
