Ahmad Abubakar: APC Chieftain, NIS, FUD, Condoles with Jigawa Correspondent Chapel

Hundreds of sympathizers have continued paying condolence visit to the Jigawa State Correspondent Chapel over the death of its Chairman, Malam Ahmad Abubakar who died on Tuesday at the age of 56.

Among the sympathizers are Hon. Faruku Adamu Aliyu, a Chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Jigawa state.

Hon. Adamu who visited the family house of late Ahmad Abubakar, described his death as a great lost to the media industry and political arena in of the state.

The Comptroller, Nigeria Immigration Service, Jigawa state Command, Alhaji Abba Aliyu sent a condolence letter.

Alhaji Aliyu who was represented by a powerful delegation led by the Assistant Comptroller, Mr Ogwu Peter said NIS was shocked by the news of Ahmed Abubakar’s death.

Mr Peter said: “The death was a great lost, not only to his family, but the nation and Muslim ummah at large.

“May Allah SWT grant him eternal rest and reward him with Jannatil Firdausi,” he prayed.

Also, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University Dutse (FUD), Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammed in his condolence message through the Public Relations Officer of the Institution, Abdullahi Yahya Bello, the VC described late Ahmed Abubakar as a respected seasoned Journalist of repute who was operating within the law and ethics of the profession.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Ahmed Abubakar.
