The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) has once again put a spotlight on Nigerian excellence in strategic communication, shortlisting the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and its partner, Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR) for the prestigious Golden World Awards (GWA) 2025.

This announcement comes as IPRA prepares for a landmark triple celebration in Accra, Ghana, marking its 70th anniversary, the 2025 GWA Gala, and the inauguration of a new president. The Ghana’s Institute of Public Relations (IPR) will also marks its 50th Anniversary.
The recognition for NCS and IMPR for a joint award on publication category is a testament to their continued prowess in the field of public relations. The partnership has a history of success at the IPRA GWA, including a win in 2024 in Belgradefor a campaign titled “100 Days of Impactful PR at Customs Service,” which was lauded for its excellence in the Crisis Management category. This repeat shortlisting solidifies their position among the global leaders in strategic communication.
