The Executive Governor of Kano State Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointments of the Chairman, Executive Secretary, and members of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Those appointed are:
1. Alhaji Yusuf Lawan – Chairman
2. Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u – Executive Secretary
3. Shiek Abbas Abubakar Daneji – Member
4. Shiek Shehi Shehi Maihula- Member
5. Amb. Munir Lawan- Member
6. Shiek Isma’il Mangu – Member
7. Hajia Aishatu Munir Matawalle- Member
8. Dr. Sani Ashir- Member
A statement signed on Tuesday by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor said the appointees are expected to take over the affairs of the board immediately to ensure a successful 2023 Hajj operation.
