President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, calling for renewed patriotism and commitment to national unity.
In a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President urged the Muslim faithful to uphold the enduring values of Ramadan, including piety, empathy, and unity.
He noted that the lessons of the holy month remain crucial, particularly in challenging times, and encouraged Nigerians to sustain virtues such as selflessness, perseverance, kindness, and compassion beyond the fasting period.
President Tinubu also called on Muslims to extend acts of generosity to the less privileged, regardless of religious differences, as a demonstration of unity and shared humanity.
Furthermore, Tinubu appealed to Muslim leaders to use the festive period to offer prayers for lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the country.
