The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, has confirmed that visas for all registered pilgrims from Kano State for the 2026 Hajj have been received and printed.

A statement issued on Thursday by the Public Relations Officer of the board, Sulaiman A. Dederi, said that speaking from Saudi Arabia, Matawalle assured the public that the board is not experiencing any difficulties in processing visas for intending pilgrims from the state.

He explained that all registered pilgrims have already had their visas printed and attached to their international passports, clearing the way for their participation in this year’s pilgrimage.

The director general urged intending pilgrims and members of the public to disregard rumours suggesting delays or complications in the visa issuance process.

He cautioned against spreading or believing unverified information, fake links, or misleading messages that could create confusion and unnecessary concern.

Matawalle also disclosed that officials of the board are currently in Saudi Arabia making final arrangements to ensure a smooth and successful pilgrimage exercise for pilgrims from the state.

He reassured registered pilgrims that adequate preparations are underway to guarantee their welfare, safety, and proper coordination throughout the pilgrimage period.

The director general further revealed that the Basic Travel Allowance (BTA) for intending pilgrims is presently being processed.
