Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has disclosed that he would like to finish on a high note at the Etihad Stadium.
The Portugal international made this known after the team’s 2-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Tuesday.
In a chat with the club’s website, Bernardo stated that he’s focused on his final season at Manchester City.
“I’ve always dreamed of winning titles, but I never imagined I’d win six Premier League titles in eight years,” he said.
“Football has given me more than I could have imagined, but it doesn’t end there: I have big ambitions and want to continue at the highest level.
“We have a clear objective, and we’ll fight for it.
“Then, further down the line, without making any long-term plans, I’m focused on my final season at Manchester City: I want to finish on a high note, try to win something more with the club that has given me so much, and then become a World Cup champion with my national team, every Portuguese’s dream.”
