Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has lauded the developmental initiatives of the Chairman of Malam Madori Local Government, Hon. Salisu Sani Garun-Gabas, during the 25th Citizenship Engagement Program held on Sunday.

The event, which attracted a large crowd of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters, was organized to showcase various projects executed by the state and local governments, as well as those undertaken by elected public officials.

Governor Namadi particularly praised Hon. Salisu Sani for the construction of a new Central Mosque in Garun-Gabas, which he commissioned during the visit.

He also commended the chairman for other people-oriented projects, including a newly completed veterinary clinic aimed at treating domestic animals, supporting livestock fattening programmes, and enhancing animal husbandry among local herders.

In his remarks, Hon. Sani revealed that a detailed scorecard of his administration’s achievements had been compiled and distributed to the governor’s entourage and other dignitaries present at the event.

The program, which lasted about three hours, was broadcast live by the Jigawa State Radio Corporation and covered by several private media organizations.
