The National Teachers’ Institute (NTI) Kaduna was greeted with the prestigious 21st International Conference on Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education (COMSTEDA).
At the center stage of the conference, His Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Mal. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, representative of the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Prof. Muhammed Sani Bello, along with the Commissioner of Education, Kaduna State, and Prof. Musa Garba Maitafsir, the Director and Chief Executive of NTI Kaduna.
Dr. Benson Banda, the President of SMASE-AFRICA, a distinguished figure in the field of education underscored the significance of the conference and the commitment of the government and educational institutions to promoting STEM education in Nigeria.
In their separate speeches, they highlighted the need to equip young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the 21st century.
Dr. Benson Banda, in his keynote speech, shared his insights on the challenges and opportunities facing STEM education in Africa.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration between governments, educational institutions, and the private sector to create a conducive environment for STEM learning.
The conference marked a significant milestone in the journey towards enhancing STEM education in Nigeria.
