Umar Sadiq is set to join Spanish club Valencia on loan for the remainder of the season,reports Completesports.com.
Valencia will have an option to buy the Nigeria international permanently at the end of the season.
Sadiq is expected to undergo medicals before the end of the week.
The 27-year-old joined Real Sociedad from Almeria three years ago but has struggled for regular playing time at the club.
The former Rangers player has made just two starts for the Blue and Whites this season.
Valencia will hope his arrival will help solve their goal scoring problem.
They currently occupy 19th position on the table.
