‘We will Sustain Tempo of Jigawa as the most peaceful state in Nigeria’ – Namadi

Jigawa state Governor Mallam Umar Namadi has promised to sustain the tempo of Jigawa state as the most peaceful state in Nigeria.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor (Media Affairs), Zainab Shuaibu Rabo, in a statement on Monday, said that Governor Namadi made the commitment when he received the newly posted Commissioner of Police to the state, CP Tijjani Abdullahi, on a courtesy visit Government House in Dutse.

The Governor said his administration will prioritize security by providing an enabling environment for the security agencies in the state.

He called on security agencies to build more cordial among themselves as security can only be achieved through holistic cordial working relationships.

“We will continue to give our utmost priority to the security and securing of our dear state, despite being the most peaceful in the country, but we cannot fold our arms, we know that we have some challenges but insha Allah with the support our security agencies we will do everything possible to continue to support them,” he declared.

He further expressed gratitude for the effort of the Police force and all other security agencies in maintaining peace in the state.

Governor Namadi applauded the dedication and commitment of police officers while discharging their primary responsibilities in the country.

On his part, CP Ahmad commended the governor for the warm reception he received and he assured the state government of their continued support and promised to sustain the peace being enjoyed in the state. He further called on the state government to continue supporting the police and all security agencies in the state.

The Commissioner of Police said that Jigawa state is a good place to work because of the peaceful coexistence of its citizens.

Moreover CP. Abdullahi indicated the zeal and commitment to build on the success recorded by his predecessor aimed at strengthening the peace and well-being of Jigawa State.
