Turkish Philanthropist Sponsors 5 Orphans to Study in Wise House Academy

A philanthropist of Turkish Origin has granted scholarship to 5 Orphans to study at wise house Academy in Abuja.

Speaking during a short ceremony to bid farewell to the 5 less privilege Orphans, Malam Lawal Maidoki, the Chairman Sokoto Zakkat and Endowment Commission said the Orphans were carefully selected based on merit and educational background.

He said the sponsorship of the 5 Orphans came as a result of a pledged made by officials of the Academy to grant scholarship to 5 Orphans from the state as Wakaf during their visit to Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Saad Abubakar III.

According to him the Academy would take full responsibility of the 5 successful Orphans to study up to their tertiary level including their feeding and accommodation up to the time of completion of their studies.

The SOZECOM chairman explained that the state Government has made adequate arrangements for their departure and their handing over to the officials of the Academy.

The 5 Orphans sponsored are Buhari Ibrahim Danjeka from Shagari local Government, Haruna Bashir from Tambuwal, Suleman Halilu Gatawa from Sabon Birni local Government, Zubairu Sani Yusuf from Sokoto South and Muhusinu Ibrahim from Sokoto North local Government.

The 5 Orphans have since left for Abuja for the continuation of their studies.

The wise House Academy is managed under the umbrella of Usmaniyya Education Foundation based in republic of Turkey.
