Three Kano Emirs Pay Royalty Visit to Emir of Gwandu

The Emirs of Rano, Karaye and Gaya Emirates, Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar and Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulkadir paid a loyalty visit to the Emir of Gwandu Alhaji Iliyasu Muhammad Bashir in Kebbi state.

Speaking while receiving them, the Emir of Gwandu Alhaji Iliyasu Muhammad Bashir congratulate them for their appointments and prayed to Almighty Allah to continue guiding them in discharging their duties.

The Emir who spoke through the Wazirin Gwandu Alhaji Abdullahi Umar expressed delight for the visit and recall how he received the Emirs of Kano and Bichi Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero who visited him in his palace two month ago.

He traced the history of Gwandu Emirate which he said is the second Emirate in the Shehu Usman caliphate that any new first-class Emir turbaned in the nineteen northern states most pay homage to Sultan of Sokoto and Emir of Gwandu to reaffirmed his loyalty.

On his part the state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje represented by the special adviser to the governor on council of Emirs’ affairs, Alhaji Tijjani Mai Lafiya Sanka thanked the Emir for accepting to visit him and the wonderful reception accorded to them by the government and good people of Kebbi state.

Speaking on behalf of the Emirs of Karaye and Gaya, the Emir of Rano Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa thanked Almighty Allah for making it possible to conduct a successful visitation to the Sultan of Sokoto, Emir of Gwandu, Hubaren Shehu Usman and Hubaren Abdullahi Gwandu in Sokoto and Kebbi states.

Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa reaffirmed their total loyalty to the Sultan of Sokoto and Emir of Gwandu been the leaders of all traditional rulers in the northern region of the country.

He commended the state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for sponsoring their journey to sokoto and Kebbi states which he described as historic journey to their Emirates.

The occasion was rounded up with presentation of copies of Tafsirin Kifaya book to the three Emirs which was written by the late first Emir of Gwandu Alhaji Abdullahi Gwandu and reprinted by the late Emir of Kano Alhaji Ado Bayero.
